Art must be interactive &

Welcome,

This page is dedicated to the online publication of my Master's thesis, completed for the "International Master Artist Educator" program at ArtEZ Academy of Art. My research explores the process of queering art education through interactive and confrontational approaches, and I've made it available here to foster broader understanding. A key component of this thesis is a video-documentary interview where I delve into specific questions, seeking genuine and insightful responses. Please consider this work to reflect my current understanding and perspective on this topic, rather than a definitive and unchanging declaration.

Sincerely,
Pompadó Z.R. Martha
Introduction and aim for this research
My research falls within the educational spectrum of the non-dualistic aspect of the Ubuntu life philosophy, and I aim to utilise a non-violent communication method to create a culturally and critically learning space. This aims to explore the terms of equity, inclusion, and diversity while having a dialogue about what they mean to the audience, from both individual and collective perspectives.
We engage in a pursuit to find a collateral connotation on how to make sure everyone's voice is heard, even when they are not part of the majority, and to lower the barrier that separates us from "the other" by engaging in acceptance of the differences that makes us as individuals strong-utility for the collective community.
